I am the recitation instructor for Todd Drumm's Math 104 class, lecture section 002 in the fall of 2006.
Dr. Drumm
The lecture for this class is on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 11 AM to noon in DRL A6.
The recitations for this class are as follows:
Homework: please hand homework in in recitation. If you will not be able to attend recitation, please hand homework in to my office (DRL 4N27) in one of the following ways:
Note that just because you receive 5 out of 5 on a given homework assignment does not mean you got everything right. If you would like to know if you have done a certain problem correctly, please ask about it in recitation or office hours.
Grading: the "recitation grade" (homework and quizzes) counts for one-sixth of your grade. There will be three midterm exams, each counting one-sixth of your grade. Thefinal exam counts for one-third of your grade. The recitation grade will be determined by adding the total number of points you earned on homework and quizzes and dividing by the total number of points possible; for each student I will drop the lowest homework and the lowest quiz. I will give these numbers to Dr. Drumm, who will count them as a part of your overall grade.
Office hours: Mondays, noon to 1 PM; Thursdays, 3 to 4 PM; or by appointment. My office is DRL 4N27. E-mail me at isabel at math dot upenn dot edu.
More information about the class will be posted here or on Dr. Drumm's web site as it becomes available.
