will speak on

Geometry and Topology of Groups

Abstract: This series of talks will explore the use of quantum homology and Gromov Witten invariants to investigate groups of symplectomorphisms. I will look both at their homotopy groups and at the geometric properties of the Hofer norm. The first two talks will be suitable for nonexperts, and the others more specialized.
